Prayer Request

Please pray for our friends, Mike and Colleen, and their family. Mike's brother took his own life at a very young age and they could use a few extra prayers as they struggle with this devastating loss.

What do I do???

Well, it's Thursday night, Tim is at golf league, and I am home alone!! Tim and I are hosting Sean and Erica's Bachelor and Bachelorette parties this weekend, so the boys are treated to a visit with "Mimi and Pa" and get to go swimming in their pool. They will be gone all weekend and I already miss them like CRAZY!
My mom just called and said they made it safe and sound; however Blake had a sad moment in the car . . . he said, "Mimi, I need to go home to my family" and my mom told him that she and Pa are his family. Blake came back with, "No, my momma and daddy are my family."
Awwww, that breaks my heart, he is such sweatheart. All week he has been cuddly and lovey and asks, "Mom, can we snuggle on the couch?" I just LOVE being a Mom and I can't wait to see them on Sunday!

Bath time Buddies

Our boys LOVE bath time and they have so much fun together. The dump water over each other's head, splash, laugh, and finally cry when they have to get out.

SLEEP!!

The last few days have been rough! Bryce has had a temp of 103 and is quite miserable. The boy who LOVES to sleep has been up the last 3 nights restless and uncomfortable. We are pretty sure he is teething, there are 2 teeth that are close to popping through, but they are giving poor Brycey a run for his money!
It seems that everyone around here is catching up their sleep at some point during the day EXCEPT for Mommy! Here is the evidence:

Peaceful, right? Why can't I do that? I also have a sleep disorder . . . insomnia!!

Here is our little man last night starting to feel a little better and getting back to his sassy self. He likes to fold his arms, pout out his lips, and say "NO" as sassy as possible. However, if a camera is spotted, he knows to say CHEESE and put his best foot forward :)

**NOTE: Please pray for a friend of mine who's Dad passed away suddenly on Thursday at the age of 54. She is pregnant and DUE with her second baby in about 1 week, so she could use a few prayers. Thank you. Life is so precious and the second we forget that, something happens to remind us.

Birthday Bliss

Here is my little man, he is completely obsessed with the shower. If he hears it running he overcomes any and all obstacles to make his way through the shower doors! Yesterday Tim started the shower and sure enough, there went Bryce into the shower pajamas and all. He wasn't quite sure he liked having wet clothes on, but it didn't stop him from staying in and enjoying himself.

This is when he realized he was BUSTED!!
Today is my birthday, but yesterday I experienced Birthday Bliss! My mom came and stayed with the kids for the day, so Tim and I went on a shopping spree (we finally got our insurance money)! It was so much fun, we talked about the boys a lot, but it was so nice to walk through the mall, holding hands, and having adult conversation :) After power shopping all day, we went to dinner at The Melting Pot, which is a fondue restaurant. It was soooo GOOD, we loved it. Tim had called ahead and so kindly told them it was my Birthday, so there was a Balloon Bouquet waiting for me at our table with a take home bar of chocolate fondue, and they took our picture, too. All in All it was a great day and now I get to spend my real birthday today with the kids. I am telling you it is BIRTHDAY BLISS, I am so lucky!!!!!! Oh yeah, and Blake and Bryce got me a new pink razr cell phone since mine only works half the time, they love their mommy!
