Max & Baby

Max loves his "baby" :) Just this week he has started carrying his teddy bear around and becoming attached. Today I helped him wrap baby up in his blankie and he sat and hugged him and was soooo happy. He kept giving him some of his sippy cup and then patted his back . . . it was pretty darn CUTE!
Just lovin him
Patting his back

Then they were off to do a little shopping!
So glad he has found a friend in his teddy!
This is fun stuff for a mother of 3 boys :)

Can ya see me now?

After 6 months of not being able to wear contacts (he developed an allergy to them) Tim got fed up and went for Lasik eye surgery on Friday. I think I was more nervous than he was, he did great! We went to a well known Dr. in Windsor Canada for the procedure and I got to watch on a TV in the back room while it was being performed.
This is actually Tim's eye during the procedure!
He could see and read immediately after the surgery. They gave him these super cool glasses to wear because he was going to be sensitive to light. Due to the medicine they gave him to help him relax, he was feeling REALLY good about himself and asked me to take his picture!

He did experience some intense burning, but he took some sleeping pills they gave him and after sleeping for 7 hours he felt really good. The next morning we went for his check up and he already had 20/20 vision. YAY Tim!!!

Splash Village

Merry Christmas to the O'Maras and Woolmans! Instead of buying presents for each other for Christmas this year we made a date to go to the indoor waterpark. We had a GREAT time and
the kids agreed that it was an awesome Christmas present.

Taylor & Blake riding double on the BIG slide

They LOVED it! They must have went down a hundred times!
The kids are over on the left side of the picture waiting for the big bucket to spill over
And there it went!
Thanks for the great gift Woolman family :)

V-day Card by Q

My Mom was again featured on a blog after posting this ADORABLE Valentine's Day card :)

I LOVE it, so different from typical V-day cards. Mom, you should be very proud of all your creations, you have a gift :)

Blake the Baller

Blake had his very first basketball game today! He is playing in the Upward league, which is a Faith based program that involves fair playing time, learning how to be a good sport, and prayerful dedication at each practice and game. We are very happy to have him involved in this program and hope he learns a lot.
Here is Blake as he was announced, running through the smoke tunnel and spotlight.
Prayer before game time

Blake is lined up and ready to start

He played some good defense

#5 keepin it alive

He was extremely timid, but started to warm up toward the end. We enjoyed watching him and look forward to spending our Saturdays at the gym!

2 Little Cousins

The two littlest O'Mara boys . . . best buds already :)

Max & Declan

3 Ring Circus

Saturday we took our very own 3 ring circus(aka Blake, Bryce & Max) to the big top to see the Shrine Circus. Bryce got all ready and practiced flexing his muscles for any girls he might run into.
We got tickets thanks to our neighbor, Fred, our favorite Shriner

The boys bought programs and were able to get many of the clowns autographs

Alex got a super cool face painting!

Max didn't enjoy sitting still at the circus, but loved running around the entire arena

Three kids clowning around in the back seat

Thanks to the Loomis family for a fun family outing!

Handsome Clothes

While Blake and Max like wearing "handsome clothes" (as Blake would say) Bryce strongly opposes wearing "church clothes" anywhere but church! So right before we left this morning I snapped some pictures of my handsome boys in their dressy, handsome, church clothes :)
Mr. Max, 15 months, in his choo-choo dress shirt. He felt pretty special strutting around the house in this get up!
CHEESE

Max LOVES the camera, he wasn't ready to give up the spot light so he snuck into a picture with "Bry", too.

Bryce Patrick, 5 years old, sweet as sassy as they come. Wears button down shirts to church only and refuses to tuck them in. Oh, and NO ties allowed.

Blake Vincent, 6 years old, always goes for the professional look, enjoys ties and shirts with a pocket.

There he is again . . . he was yelling "Momma" and posed for another picture!
Why do they have to grow up so fast?!

Nice Ride

Every time it comes out of the closet Max comes running and mounts himself on the vacuum waiting for the fun to begin. It is hilarious, the kid positions his feet just right so he can have himself a nice ride while I clean! He's all about making the best of the situation, LOVE IT!!!

New Year's Eve Wedding Bash

You only wear your wedding dress once, right? WRONG!!!! I got to wear mine a second time on New Year's Eve when Tim and I hosted a wedding themed party with our friends the Woolmans and one other couple. It was so much fun, the hall looked great, the food was delicious, the games were a good time, and the dancing was non-stop.

8 and a 1/2 years since we got married xoxoxo

So GREAT to have my brother Allen and his girlfriend Rachael join us all the way from New Jersey. (Yes, it's confusing that we have the same name)

Love this group of friends: the Blusts, the Groves, and us

Our close friends, and neighbors, Fred & Tracy

The party was a HIT! Now we are already talking about what next year's theme can be :)
