BFFs

Our boys have been raised with the Woolman girls since birth.  We spend a lot of family time together, which is fun for all of us!!

Oh, Blake

Blake is a funny guy.  He's very sweet, sensitive, and serious, yet has this funny side that cracks us up every day!  As I was loading his backpack for school I asked him if he needed more snacks (I sent a large supply of non-perishables to keep in his locker, in Tupperware containers that NEVER come home).  He says, "No, I'm all set, I take the leftovers from my lunch and keep them in my locker until Leftover Wednesday, then I eat what I have."  I stared at him surprised by what he said.  He then says, "Oh, but this week I learned a very important lesson, grapes will turn into spiders if left in my locker too long".  I said, "SPIDERS???" and he said, "yeah, they had legs and and spouts all over, just looked like spiders".  EWWWWWW!
At this point Max was listening and says, "Ewww, farters".  Max can't say spiders, it comes out farters . . . ahhh life with boys ;)

Yesterday Blake didn't feel good at school, so the secretary called me at work to come get him.  When I got there he had bad stomach pains and smelled like he was marinating in toots . . . which as it turns out he was!  He came home and had what we call "the problem" that kept him running to the bathroom, poor guy.  So he was legitly sick.  On our way home from school, though, he was in tears apologizing for me having to leave work and that he feels so bad I will have to work harder to make up for it.   My sweet boy is always worrying about something, I took time to reassure him that my boys are my #1 priority!
Love that kid!
