Happy Campers

Blake and Bryce get so excited to go on camping trips. This past weekend we went to Gladwin and camped with many great friends. It is always a good time at The Groves!
Here is Brycie on the way there, He's so COOL he's gotta wear shades
We LOVE Baby Girl, Lauren
Tim and Jeff
Blake and his buddy, Moe
Blake enjoys Jeff's Dad, Moe, so much. They have become instant buddies this summer. Moe and Blake go fishing, jump on the trampoline, have long talks on the dock, and go for many golf cart rides.

Dinner with the Dunnebacks

Last night we met our friends, Chad and Leah, for dinner. We don't get to see them that often, maybe once every month or two, but they sure leave a lasting impression with Blake and Bryce. Blake was so excited to see Chad he was begging to use my cell phone on the way to the restaurant so he could call him. Chad was so kind, he called Blake on the way home, but Blake has trouble positioning the phone properly so I bet Chad didn't hear a word he was saying! Once we got there Blake was hanging all over Chad then quickly moved onto Leah. Even Bryce, who is very shy, was jumping up into their arms. It is so fun hanging out with the Dunnebacks and it makes me so happy that the kids love them as much as we do. I was sad to leave them . . . I think I gave them about 5 hugs before we finally left!
On our way home we stopped and Uncle Sean and Aunt Erica's house and the boys were so excited to see them. It was really cute, Blake only wanted to in the house to give Aunt Erica a hug and Bryce just wanted to get out of his car seat to see Uncle Sean. It was a LOVE fest!
One more picture:
I had to share this picture because I was so impressed. This was a private cottage on the beach and the owner came out and offered it as a photo opportunity. It was unplanned and I think will turn out to be the best pic of the bunch!

Wedding Bells

This past weekend, our friends Traci & Drew got married. They were married in the cutest little chapel and had a beautiful reception. We had so much fun and danced the weekend away.

Slip n Slide

Okay, this was quite a while ago, but now that my photo software is fixed I have to back track a little. Bryce and Blake have a blast on their Spider Man slip n slide. It keeps them cool and Bryce finds it most convienient that he can stop for a drink whenever he gets thirsty.

We LOVE Lauren & Lilly

We are Baby Crazy! My cousin Robin and her husband Keith welcomed their second daughter, Lillian Claire into the world last week and their oldest daughter turns ONE this Saturday. We are unable to make it to the party, so we went to visit them today. We got to meet the lovely Lilly and she is so sweet and cuddly, a beautiful addition to the family! She just snuggled in when I held her, oh we love little Lilly! Big Sister Lauren is just as Cute and Sweet! She loved having kids to play with and Blake and Bryce enjoyed playing with all her cool toys. I only wish I had my camera so you could see how cute they were all playing together. Lauren was so funny, going after Blake's toes every time he sat on the couch :) We even got to see my cousin Kelle who is visiting from California so that was nice, too.
Congrats Keith & Robin, Welcome Lillian, and Happy Birthday Lauren!!
We love you and hope to get the kids together more often.
NOTE:
Although we love all these little babies we are certainly NOT thinking of having another one any time soon, so Grandparents don't too get excited. We are perfectly content with our 2 busy boys right now. Thank you.

Love at first sight

My best friend, Monica, delivered her second baby girl tonight and she is just so beautiful. They named her Jenna Rae and she looks just like her Daddy. Big Sister Taylor is so excited she is literally bouncing off the walls. I am such a baby junkie I wanted to take her home with me!
Monica had the perfect delivery and both Mom and Baby are doing great. Ahh, another baby to LOVE and spoil.

Blake-isms Part 2

Poor Blake has had diarrhea for the last 3 days, but his first experience with it is too funny not to share:
Daddy takes Blake to the bathroom while Blake has "the problem"
Bewildered Blake says: "Dad, where is all that water coming from?"
He then answers his own question: "Hey, I think that water is coming from my butt!"
He was so proud, he quickly ran to Mommy to share: "Mom, I had water coming from my butt into the toilet!"
What an accomplishment. I guess this is just a glimpse of my life with 3 boys :)
Due to his diarrhea Blake had to stay home while Bryce went to the babysitter's house. This was traumatic for both brothers. Blake was crying and saying "I miss Brycie, I want to go to Nancy's to be with him." Bryce meanwhile was playing and having fun until he realized he was alone. Nancy said he stopped, walked over to the cars and looked around, then walked over to the swing set and looked around, then burst into tears. She said, you could just tell he missed Blake. When they were reunited later that day, they hugged and resumed normal activities: running around chasing each other and playing trucks.
Another Blake-ism:
Mommy says: "Oh, I am so tired, I could really use a nap"
Blake: "No, you don't need a nap, we need to read more books"
Mommy: "We read several books, we really need to take a nap"
Blake: "You don't have a choice" and he handed me 2 more books
WOW, he stole those words right out of my mouth, don't worry he didn't get away with it. We had a very serious discussion about why that is not nice to say and he finished our talk by telling me that I really hurt his feelings by telling him not to say that. This kid is good.
The Last Blake-ism . . . for now
Tim was standing at the front door saying goodbye to visitors as they were leaving. He had the door propped open with his arm and Blake comes up with a stern look and says:
"In or Out, Dad!"

The Boys

I have been feeling much better the last few days, so I had to get my camera out and show you my boys in their matching outfits. Again, I already know they are going to hate me when they see these pictures later in life, but I can't help it . . . it is so darn cute!!
Bryce, he is so camera shy . . .YEAH RIGHT
Again with a pose, we are going to have our hands full with this one!
Blake just LOVES to laugh
Here they are: Matching Brothers
HUGS
Always Goofing Around
My Brycie Blue Eyes
Handsome Man Blake

They have so much fun together. I know I have said this a million times, but I just LOVE watching them together. They make me laugh every day and they truly enjoy each other. They occasionally fight over a toy, but they forgive and forget very quickly. I just can't get enough of them!!! XOXOXOXOXOXOXO
