39 Weeks

The title is self explanatory, 39 Weeks pregnant and waiting (I would like to say patiently, but I can't if I'm being honest) for baby boy to find his way to our arms. We had an ultrasound on Friday and his weight is estimated at 7 lbs 12 oz at this point and they said that could be off by a pound either way. I have had a "perfect pregnancy" and they said they will talk induction at 41 Weeks if I don't deliver before then (oh PLEASE let me deliver before then).
I left the doctor on Friday and cried in the car on the way home simply because I am tired and hormonal and thus very emotional. Bryce was with me and he said, "Mom, why are you crying?" I said "Because I just want the baby out" and he said, "Mom, it's just not time yet." HUH! He's only 3, what does he know!!! :)

Brycie loves "class"

Bryce is super excited for Mondays and Wednesdays when he gets to go to Music Class and Tiny Tots that he wakes up early, gets dressed, and puts his backpack on hours before it's time to leave. These are the pictures I took with my phone last week:

Walking Big Brother to the bus stop
Making friends at Tiny Tots

He can't figure out why he is in a class with all "babies"
Bryce turns 4 on December 21st, which means he misses the 4 year old class deadline by 20 days
He will always be one of the oldest in his class, it is just much more obvious at this age than it will be when he's older. He towers over the other kids!

So proud of his pencil box
Now I just hope he does well this week when Mommy doesn't go with him!

Kindergarten Coolness

Blake continues to love kindergarten, even though he misses his Mommy (he seriously says that), and he is extra happy today because he was BLUE on the behavior chart! Blue is the very BEST you can be and he has been praying to get blue since the start of school. Way to go Blake!
Blake is feeling pretty Cool since he got a sticker and all for being BLUE today.
Oh, and please look very closely at the picture and notice the spot on his shirt by his belly. What is this you ask? He cut a nice size hole in his shirt during craft time today while using scissors! I LOVE the kindergarten stories he comes home with :)

38 Weeks

38 Weeks and still waiting . . .

This is the longest I've ever been pregnant, and we are celebrating because that means a perfectly healthy pregnancy. Although, I am ready any time now :)

An Interesting Character

Oh, life with Bryce is always interesting.  He is a sweet & sassy little ball of fire who we love dearly.  He woke up this morning, stood at the top of the stairs and when Tim looked at him and said Good Morning, Bryce simply said "WHAT?" as in what do you want and who do you think you are to even speak to me.  He then asked Tim where Mom was and when he said I was taking a shower, Bryce turned around and went back to bed.  When he finally emerged again he burst into tears when he saw that I was already dressed for the day because he only wants to see me in my pajamas, specifically my "dot jammies" because those are his favorite.  This dramatization carried on for a good 30 minutes until he fnally snapped out of it and morphed into our sweet and cuddle bug Brycie.
We are very proud of our boy Bryce as he started school this week without a hitch.  He LOVES music class with Aunt Erica & Quinn and really enjoys Tiny Tots as well.  I only wish I had pictures to post so you could see how Cute and Grown Up he was on his school days; however he was not interested in picture taking and actually had an episode each time I even brought the camera out of the office :(   I did snap a few with my camera phone at school, so I will work on downloading those to share.
Our oldest boy and our middle boy are settled, YAY!
Hello Baby Boy, we know you are still in there . . . You have been so patient, but you are up next . . . GAME ON!!!!!!!!!

My BIG Boy

Blake has been so lovey and cuddly all weekend. This morning as we were cuddled up on the couch he said, "Mom, I wish I could be a kid forever."  I said, "What do you mean?"  He replied, "If I stayed a kid forever, I would be able to stay home with you and play all I want.  School is all work and no play."

Welcome to the real world my big boy :(

Men at Work

What do you get when you cross 3 O'Mara boys with 3 lawn mowers?
a Nice looking front yard . . .
and a Daddy that gets a little annoyed because it takes him twice as long to cut the lawn!

After cutting the grass all 3 boys took on another project:
Landscaping bricks around the deck

It turned out Perfect, great work Tim, Blake & Bryce!
My work comes in the spring when I have to plant!

First Day of Kindergarten

Blake started kindergarten on Tuesday, September 8th for a FULL day and he was SO excited. He's been waiting for this day to come for a year now! He was all smiles :)

His little brother gave him a lot of big hugs because he knew he would miss him
Bryce actually cried most of the morning saying his belly hurt cuz he didn't want Blake to go to school

Blake gets on the bus at 8:15am and gets off at 4:04pm. I feel like that makes for a loooonnngg day, but so far he loves every minute of it.
Here he is at the bus stop, clearly annoyed that his Mom has to take another picture

One last hug for Mommy

Then off he goes, starting the next chapter

After 2 days of school he says his favorite part is recess and he really enjoys having lunch with all the new friends he's made. He comes home full of stories, so far my favorite is that he thought the chocolate milk in the lunch line was free for the taking and he tried to help himself the first day until someone stopped him! The next day I sent 35cents for him to purchase one :)
We are so proud of Blake and how well he is transitioning to his new routine. Here's hoping the enthusiasm continues!!
As most of you could have guessed, I was quite emotional as the bus pulled away with my oldest boy. I seriously cried like a baby and continued to do so on and off throughout the day.
It's just soooo hard to let go.

36 Weeks

Baby boy and I are heading into the final stretch as I am now officially in my last month of pregnancy. Our due date is less than 4 weeks away and while I've never made it full term (Blake: 38wks and Bryce: 36wks) this pregnancy has been completely different all along. My blood pressure is GREAT, lab work is perfect, and I haven't had any symptoms of preeclampsia at all, WHOO-HOO!!! Baby's heart rate today was 138 and I am already dilated to 2cm. Now we just wait. It looks like I will actually get to enjoy this process naturally instead of induction like the other boys, which is very exciting.
Blake starts school on Tuesday and Bryce the following week, so I am hoping to make it at least 2 more weeks before baby's arrival so I can get the boys settled in school. Of course we will be happy to meet our little guy whenever he chooses to make his debut, but a 2 week wait period would be a nice gift to his brothers :)
Time will tell . . . all we know is that we will see you in 4 weeks or less little baby, we can't wait to meet you! There are 4 of us here who are ready to love you to pieces xoxo
