First Communion

Blake has been so very excited and counted down the days to receive the Eucharist.
He was really hoping to wear a tux for this special occasion, but we talked him down to a nice blue suit ;)

Bryce was happy for his big brother

Our family, so proud of Blake

This boy was so grown up, so ready to learn more and grow in his faith, and so brave as he answered so many of Father Andrew's questions in front of the whole church!  We truly couldn't be prouder of him.

So thankful he was able to share this sacrament with Taylor

So very proud of my God daughter, Taylor :)

What a GREAT day for Blake and our entire family!  There were several moments today that I will always remember, even as I shed tears of pride and joy.
After the celebration, our guy went on to register for golf and then scored 3 big goals in his soccer game . . . busy life we have!  We LOVE every minute of it!

Niagra Falls

We had a great Easter weekend in Niagara Falls, Canada with my brother and his fiance.  It worked out to be about half way for us to meet.  The boys were amazed by the falls and always love being with Uncle Allen & Aunt Rachael!
We were lucky to have beautiful weather as we walked all around Niagara . . . the views never get old.
This is the American Falls with a flat rainbow spreading across the river.

These are the horseshoe falls, they are hard to photograph because the vortex creates this large mist of water over the Falls . . . and even gets you wet when the wind shifts!

Family fun with horseshoe falls in the background

Blake was the ultimate tourist, snapping a thousand pictures throughout the weekend on his ipod.

Uncle Allen is a great tour guide where ever we go!

Max and Daddy . . . you could just watch the water all day!

Uncle Allen & almost Aunt Rachael in front of the American Falls and the small waterfall to the right (over Rachael's head) is called bridal veil.  How appropriate ;)

Here are a couple of pirates we ran into at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville!  So fun!

Rachael & the boys

These boys can't get enough of Uncle Allen

The boys were worried because we were in another country, but the Easter Bunny found us in Niagara Falls, YAY!

I asked Max to sit by his brothers for a group picture and this is what I got.

He was more interested in eating his bunny . . . hands-free so he didn't get sticky.

Uncle Allen & Aunt Rachael got the boys Easter baskets, too, and the lego kits were huge hits

Silly boy with his bunny

Happy Easter!!
