Upward Basketball 2013

We are definitely a sports loving family, and I thoroughly enjoy watching my boys on any court or field; but I have to admit that basketball is my FAVORITE!

Saturday started another season of Upward basketball and it was so much fun for all of us.

Blake & Bryce love being announced and running out of the tunnel and playing with and against their friends.

Bryce is on a team with many of the same friends from last year.  He is still the tallest guy out there, which enhances his ability to see the whole court.  He's a great team player and is always looking for the best option.

 Blake has a really good coach who does a great job teaching the fundamentals while demanding respect. He is excited to be on a team with his friend Colin, who he has known since he was 6 months old.  They both went to the same babysitter :)

If you are looking for us on a Saturday from now until early March we will be at the gym from 10:45am - 1:15 pm . . . and loving it!

Tim's boss was so kind to gift Tim with Lions tickets for our family.  We had GREAT seats, 50 yard line 20 rows up.  The boys had the BEST time!! During the first through third quarters Max was dancing in the seats, jumping up and down, but he was wore out by the fourth quarter . . . snoring on Dad's lap.

Christmas Day

Christmas Day at my parents house found us all feeling better, until that night when Rachael went down with the sickness.

Christmas Eve

Well, we started our holiday celebrations off with a BANG, thanks to the stomach bug that swept through our family.  Blake was first. 

 Followed by Bryce and myself

 

Then it was Allen and my Mom . . . followed by Rachael.

 

Our family was feeling better so thankfully we were able to attend Christmas Eve mass, in which Blake and Bryce were ushers and gift bearers along with Taylor and Jenna

Boys putting out cookies and milk for Santa as well as carrots for the reindeer.  Max LOVES carrots and kept sneaking them off the plate everytime Blake turned his head.   Blake would catch him red handed and would then have to keep replenishing the supply.  It was cute!
