After basketball season ended our friends threw a celebration.  With all the families there we had 15 boys and 4 girls.

Blake refused to wear MSU, just a green shirt in honor of upcoming St. Pats Day and then grabbed his Michigan hat on his way out the door.

He said to me, "Mom you know I will always be a Michigan fan, right"?  I replied, "I will love you no matter what, but I will never stop trying to save you".  We are a house divided.

Max the Model

Max loves to pose for the camera and then requests I text the pictures to people!

He's our little model :)

 

Our favorite daycare teacher Miss Chelsea brought her bunny in for the kids to see.  Max loved Coco and wanted to get one for our house.

 

Max loves "MissKenzie" or otherwise known as Mackenzie.  Rich & Lindsays daughter is adorable and very tolerant of our boys wanting to cuddle her.

Blake is 9. WHAT?!

Blake Vincent turned 9 years old on March 4th and we still can't believe it!

He's growing up to be a sweet, kind hearted, goofy, smart boy.

He LOVES soccer, football, basketball, chocolate, University of Michigan, and still likes to cuddle with his Mom (YAY).

 

Blake has struggled with his reading level and this year he has soared right past the level he needed to be at.  He got all As on his report card and was so proud of what he accomplished with his reading level.  Proud moment at our house :)

 

We went to Splash Village to celebrate his birthday and he was able to bring his friend Luke.  We had a super fun couple of days with our water logged boys.  Sean, Erica & the boys also joined us, it was a fun way to celebrate a birthday!

 

After church the day before his birthday we had family over to celebrate with Blake.  Itr was a simple brunch and he felt special.

Valentine Boys 2013

Blake was so excited for Valentine's day this year because he has had a crush on a girl since the start of school this year!  He asked us if he could please have $1 to send his crush a Candy-Gram at school.  We agreed to donate to his cause so he happily bought the candy-gram and filled it out to O*  from Blake O'Mara.  Valentines Day came around and he was so nervous to go to school to find out how she would react . . .  unfortunately she ended up being sick that day and wasn't there to recieve it!!!  Poor guy was disappointed it didn't work out in his favor. 
A week or so later he came home and reported that O* came up to him during reading time and said, "Thanks for the candy-gram".  He said, "Your welcome".  And that was it.  He's still admiring her from afar and says her only down fall is that she is a Michigan State fan like his Mom ;)  I like her already!

Our little Casa Nova also made a Valentine for his friend Alex.  Pretty cute stuff :)
