Wedding Shower

We had such a FUN weekend with my brother Allen and his fiance Rachael who arrived late Friday night and stayed until this afternoon.  We had a big family dinner at our house on Saturday with Rachael's parents and my parents and had such a great time.  We ate, played wiffle ball, and told many stories.  It was so nice to get to know Allen's future in-laws; he is lucky to be marrying into a wonderful family!
Sunday we went to an early mass then got ready for the bridal shower :). It was an intimate affair at Atlas Valley and I thought everything turned out perfect for Rachael.

My little Max and Me, just love him to pieces.  He kept wanting more pictures with Mommy, so we have about 10 of just the two of us.

We had cupcakes (Rachael's favorite) for dessert at the shower and they were soooo GOOD!

This lucky bride received an Eggstractor. It is a long standing family joke and this particular Eggstractor has been passed around for YEARS.  Thanks to Grandma Goodman for starting us with this treasure.

She was also surprised to find a picture of John Bryson in a lovely picture frame. John Bryson was our neighbor while Allen and I were growing up and we have placed his picture in many gifts throughout the years.  He recently passed away, but his memory will continue to live on through our family for sure.

Soo very nice they made the trip from New Jersey, we loved having them here over the weekend!

After party at our house!

It truly was a wonderful weekend, we didn't want it to end.  Allen & Rachael received many great gifts and several gift cards as they start their new life together.  We love them both so much!!!
Can't wait until the wedding in September :)
