Heat Wave

Since we have had the boys, Tim and I hardly ever get out and have fun without the kids; however, last weekend we went to a Heat Wave party thrown by our neighbors at our old house. Tropical attire was required, which explains the grass skirt and wild shirts in the picture above, they served an AMAZING gourmet meal, and it was so much fun. The boys, meanwhile, had a fun night at home with "Mimi".

Blake is still doing GREAT with potty training, he hasn't had an accident since Thursday!! We are so very proud of him. Tim said, "I couldn't be more proud that my son pooped on the toilet".
Bryce on the other hand is being a little stinker. He is hitting and yelling "NO" all the time, then when he gets in trouble for it he sticks out his little pouty lip and fake cries. Oh, how fun!!

LOVE the pic. The only thing that's missing is a coconut bra for Tim!

Congrats to Black on potty training! I can identify with Bryce's struggles. Brady has started this thing where if he doesn't like something that we are feeding him...say...Vegtable Beef (which is really disgusting) he will put his arm up in the air and wait for me to try to feed him. Then just as I am putting the food in his mouth, he swats at it. Or he will make really nasty faces.
Boys will be boys!
P.S. I love the costumes! I have such spring fever it is unreal! I cannot wait to go outside with the kids and not have to take twenty minutes to bundle them up and 15 minutes to get everything back off again! Spring is just around the corner though!
Miss you guys! Kristi

I am sorry to say that I haven't ready your blogs in about a month. But I was catching up and saw your vacation blog. How terrible.... I am glad the boys are feeling better though. Someday you will look back on this and laugh. Maybe not for a few years...but maybe someday. :)
Keep your head up in the mean time! And enjoy every moment you have with your boys. :) Even though sometimes you just wish you could crawl back into bed and hide under the covers.
